Lost Lake
Lost Lake is a remote lake in Northern Colorado, about 75 minutes from Fort Collins. There are many “Lost Lakes” in Colorado, so be sure to use the “view larger map” link in the embedded map to the left.
Our ceremony will be on the lake shore, about 100 yards from the parking area. After the short ceremony, we will walk to a nearby campsite for the reception.
Remote Location
Remote, in this case, means about 30 minutes from the nearest town. There is no running water or toilets, but the plan is that the bride and groom will rent an RV for the weekend, so the RV toilet will be available.
Help is Available
We are inviting friends and immediate family only. Local friends and some family are all going to camp with us for the night. We understand this is going to be a logistically challenging wedding for out-of-town guests, and we plan to do whatever we can to help make it possible.
Food and Drink
We will provide dinner and booze at the reception, campers should pack and plan for the rest of their camp.
Dinner will be catered by Cafe Mexicali and will be a burrito/taco bar.

Inclement Weather
We’re really hoping we can make it work with the weather, but as a last resort, we will host the ceremony and reception at our house in Aurora, CO
Think comfortable, breathable fabrics and layers for unpredictable mountain weather. For men, a lightweight button-down shirt, chinos or durable pants, and sturdy shoes or boots work well. For women, a flowy dress or a practical outfit with comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground. Don’t forget a hat or sunglasses for sun protection!
